Sippin' Sunsets at the Sierra - Howdy, y'all. Earlier today, I received my order of the Sunset Sarsaparilla Rollerball and the Sierra Madre Rollerball. Shipping time was quick with no fuss, the packaging was delightful, and included two cute stickers. It put a big smile on my face just to open it all up.
Let's kick this off with a few words about everyone's favorite beverage. When you're out patrolling the Mojave, wishing for a nuclear winter, the first thing you reach for is a refreshing Sunset Sarsaparilla. You'll pop off that bottlecap (checking it over for a Blue Star, of course) and find the robust marriage of licorice root and sassafras there to greet you with zest and zeal. These two may seem a bit spicy and pack a zing to start, but don't worry, they don't go down too strong. They give you just the right amount of friendliness, a good firm handshake. As you let that Sarsaparilla settle further, it's like taking a moment to watch that Sunset sinking behind the Mojave horizon: warmth, comfort, and coming home.
For our next scent, we take ourselves for a night out on the town, to the Sierra Madre Casino. Now, that saffron and bergamot cloud may seem a bit intimidating at first, but it's nothing we can't handle. After all, we came here to begin again, and that requires some work on our part. Once we come upon the grand, opulent casino and make our way inside, we learn the true essence and history of this building lies within one woman: Miss Vera Keyes. We witness her beauty, we learn of the deception that lead to her end, and now we know her smell. We sit down with her hologram to play some Blackjack and smoke a cigarette. It's here that we're met with a scent fit for our tragic starlet: Luxurious, warm, with a kiss of florals, and a touch of musk.
The true magic of this moment comes when we decide to combine the taste of home with our new beginning, and we pop open another Sunset Sarsaparilla. Who'd have guessed that the two would compliment each other in such a way? Almost like old friends.
I'd like to think, as we keep on keepin' on in this Wild Wasteland, that we always carry a little bit of both with us. There are some things that we'll keep with us for a lifetime, and some things that we'll need to part with as we go along. The trick of it all (besides knowing when), is recognizing the beauty in the balance of the two.
Soooo nice!! Packaging was amazing and they even threw in a sample of another fragrance with some cute stickers!! I’ve been trying to find some new vegas inspired scents and they nailed it. Highly recommend checking this out! :)
Bought this because I couldn’t keep stealing my sisters, absurdly addictive scent 100000/10 would buy 80 more if I could.
So good im about to buy another set of the fallout themed rollers!! I dont usually like perfumes but the west coast cowboy is to die for. I dont know much but mixing the sunset sarsaparilla and west coast cowboy. The nukacola was great and got many compliments but not my personal everyday favorite
